FIRST TV SPOT

A Night to Remember on the 'Staten Island Comedy Show'

Every comedian dreams of their first TV appearance. For me, that dream became a reality when I was invited to perform on the Staten Island Comedy Show. Flying from Florida to Staten Island, I was filled with a mix of excitement and nerves as I prepared for this milestone in my comedy career.

The moment I stepped into the TV studio at the Community Media of Staten Island, I knew it was going to be a special night. The energy in the studio was electric, and the setup was incredible. But what really put me at ease was the warm welcome from the show’s producer and host, Nevin Cummings. His friendly demeanor and words of encouragement made me feel right at home.

As I waited in the green room, I met some of the other comics who were also performing that night. Sharing stories and laughs helped take the edge off my nerves. Before long, it was time to head to the set, where we got a glimpse of the cameras and stage. It was surreal to see everything I’d imagined come to life.

When the show went live, I was admittedly a little anxious. After all, this was live television—no retakes, no do-overs. But as soon as I delivered my opening joke about my name and heard the audience erupt in laughter, my nerves melted away. From that moment on, the set felt like magic. Every punchline landed, every interaction resonated, and the joy of performing took over.

After the show, Nevin gave me a glowing review, which he later shared on Google (Read the review below in gallery)

That night wasn’t just my first TV appearance—it was a milestone that affirmed my love for comedy and my ability to connect with audiences in any setting. I’m deeply grateful to Nevin and the Staten Island Comedy Show team for giving me the opportunity and making it an unforgettable experience.

Stay tuned for more TV appearances—I promise, this is just the beginning!
